Hey guys am just wondering what condition is Cork Race coarse at the moment, heard it was under a few foot of water at the weekend. Am wondering what are the chances of racing going ahead.

Judging by the picture I saw last week, I very much doubt there will be racing there any time soon. You could barely see the top of the fences or the top of the winning post.

And they spent how much on ensuring it didnt get waterlogged!! One of the worst cases of wasted money within racing.

Cant be that wasted if they are racing Sun and Fairyhouse and Naas are off.

Yes but Naas and Fairyhouse didn't spend 8m on avoiding waterlogging!! Cork specifically raised the racecourse and it has since been flooded.

Last 10minutes they have announced Cork called off tomorrow due to rain..

    Hardly surprising...
