Anyone know what San Francisco is like for a J1, don't really want to head to San Diego, it sounds a bit much !!! I've heard it's very expensive and the Irish students aren't too well regarded, for obvious reasons. I don't have my heart set on anywhere and to be honest it's the one thing that has stopped me booking it... I don't have a clue where I would like to go !!

    Any advice welcome,

    Thanks

Actually, I've just booked the flights to head to San Francisco myself! Everything I've heard and read about J1ing there said it's a fantastic experience.

Either of you guys have any plans for accommodation or jobhunting? Drop me an email or whatever if ye're looking for someone to share with.

    (Bonus - I'll be 21 when I go! :))
