Most Pen Drives will work fine on Vista (Especially ones from a reputable manufacture.)

The newer breed of pen drive have what's known as "Ready Boost" & these are what are being referred to as "Vista Ready"

"Ready Boost" is a feature which allows Vista to use the memory on your pen drive for the PC system to help boost performance or something like that anyway.
