I am thinking of getting these:

    http://www.atheadphones.com/product/28/CM700%20TI.htm

Are they that good at the price or are there cheaper alternatives in other brands?

I would be using it with an Archos device.

    Thanks!

Jeaz bru is that 180 euro?

-I've also been looking for earphones myself - maybe this should be a sticky/separate sub forum?

Hi! Thanks for that, but those are also on the pricey end of the scale. What about sub 100€ - what would be the best?

    True... quite pricey... ok

    how about the Yuin PK2 - http://www.headphone.com/guide/by-manufacturer/yuin/yuin-pk2.php

    or cheaper still the PK3....

read up on those two I guess and see with you'd prefer...they have gotten great praise though...especially the PK3 in terms of SQ Vs Price

Hi! Being busy since so just to tie up my end to this thread -

I went for the PK3 in the end and they arrived today.

I had a quick listen as I know it will take a while to "burn" them in as it appears, but there is a very even sound and quite smooth. I had been using a cheap set of Sennheiser mx350 I picked up in an airport in the interim and to be honest these were quite good - but more on the base boom end of the scale certainly way way better than the stock ones I had been using for a while.

My next step is to track down a good deal on a Cowon D2 or and iAUDIO 7 but I haven't decided yet nor found a deal.

    M.
