    Hi Networking Gurus,

I may sound a little crazy, but believe me this is my requirement.

I need two IP address to two interfaces on two different devices to commmunicate, which are not commonly used either in private or public address space. Can you suggest any such two addresses?

Can I use the reserved Class E addresses for this?

    Cheers,
    TheHegdes

Do you have 2 NICs in the one machine?? and would like the machine to be multi homed on 2 seperate LANs?

If the above is true, and your looking for 2 IP address ranges for each of the private LANs, you could use 192.168.1.x and 192.168.2.x
