    Hi Everyone

Long time boards user but have to go unreggy today as employer knows my boards details.

Anyways I work in a smallish company, I have been here 3 years in June and everything has been going fine up to last Summer. A colleague was ill and I ended up not getting holidays in order to cover his work. At the time I was promised the earth in Overtime, days off etc. None of it happened. Apart from a week i took that was owed to me anyways....

So we come back after Christmas and he has totally changed with me. No reason at all, we have gone from fairly chatty to basically not speaking apart from good morning. Weird.

Yesterday someone from the office fwd on an email with details I needed for a particular client. As I was reading down through the fwd fwd parts....I notice the boss has told colleague that I am going to be making changes but he (my colleague) should do them as he doesnt need any **** ups with said client....I was gobsmacked...he basically feels im inept and told the colleague the same thing.

I have never ever ever caused any **** ups or anything like that, infact I pride myself on the work I do....

Gobsmacked...what would you do in my situation?
I have already started to apply for a new job

    One word - communication.

You have the e-mail that makes an allegation, you should ask, in a non-confrontational manner, what this is all about. Ask for specific details of what you did and, if it was perceived that you made a cock-up, why weren't you told about it at the time.

Brushing this under the carpet will do you no good.

    +1 on that

Thats the thing with with emails. He probably didn't know you were going to see/read it. I reckon you should contact HR. Approaching him might be confrontational.
All the best and keep us posted!
