Can anyone recommend me a good racing game for the PS3? Is the new need for speed any good?

Wait for burnout, the reviews its getting are stellar. Personally I hate the newest NFS with a passion, its pure muck. But then I love MotorStorm and lots of people hate that game.

Burnout Paradise is the safest bet.

If you're into Formula 1 at all the Formula 1 game on PS3 is brilliant - its the best since F1 97. You'd have to be a fan to appreciate it though.

MotorStorm reminds me a lot of Burnout 2 tbh. Shame they never put split screen into. Retarded really. Good game otherwise.

Burnout Paradise seems really good based on the demo. I am concerned that they're going to make the same mistake as Motorstorm though!

i played the Burnout demo and its great. i have been trawling through internet previews of the game and just cant find anything about split screen

Played the burnout demo and wasn't that impressed. Loved the earlier burnout games but found this game strayed from the Burnout formula andto be too similar to a GTA style layout. Though having said that I love playing Ridge Racer 7 so what do I know?:)

i know what you mean about the free roaming. then again the demo didnt really have much in it.

assuming there are lots of challenges available and split screen multiplayer then i think they will have a seriously good game on their hands

what a waste of a game. i got NFS for the multi player when my mates call around ...... but man that game is cr@p!!

i was hoping for some good late night burnout sessions.

Anyone else find the "free roaming" aspect of Burnout a bit poo? I prefer the old method of picking a race, and it seems to be missing a lot of the cool game modes of the older games...

If I want the inner city carnage i can play GTA

IMO the lack of split screen is a huge mistake. That was one of the reasons j was going to get. i think i'll wait for GT. Ne1 know wen its released?

As for F1, sorry was never a fan, but going on reviews, 2008 sounds like a very good version
