    thats highly dubious... Should possibly be renamed to "photoshop awards" before several professional photographer groups beat them to a pulp.

    Some of those images have been around for a while - 6th one down is a Van Halen album cover (mid-1990's I think).

    In fairness, what you see on the site depends entirely on what sections you're looking at. There are some fine shots in a lot of the categories. If you're looking exclusively at product/advertising/commercial or editorial stuff then a lot of it is photoshopped to hell and back, but thats just the nature of the beast. Album covers (as peter points out) or book covers and the like, along with product shots, bear only a tenuous relationship to the original photographs ...

    Just a quirky observation here, but in the third shot the top cat's shadow looks like the shape of an elephant with its trunk raised.

    I agree that those shots should be classified more on the PS camp.

    But saying that, achieving great results in Photoshop is also an art form as is taking the money shot by just using glass.
