I work in a Volunteer Centre and I thought that I would post this link here for anyone who may be thinking about volunteering but isn't sure where to start researching the whole issue:

This links to a network of Volunteer Centres around Ireland who can give people information about how decide what type of volunteering may suit them, and information about volunteering roles that are vacant in your local area.
