Making new maps is COD4 ? anyone done it ?

    I'd be imterested in trying to do this.. I know with crysis you get the sandbox2 editor to make new maps ... Can you do anything like that with COD4?

    If now anyone know how one could go about making them.

    Do ya think they will release the Kit ?... I know a little about 3D,, very litle lol.. But if i put my mind to it i would make a 3D town.. like buildings/cars etc,,, not as good as the COD guys but basic things... Now i know theres more to it then just making a town/village,,,

    lets say we got a few guys ,, made a map and had it ready for gaming.. would we need some sort of gaming engine from the COD game ?

    i've got a map idea myself that i rekon i could make. The maps seems pretty simple enough as the only thing that i've seen move so far has been the cars when you shoot them. Everything on the maps are static.

    Id be interested in giving it a go. Halflife maps arent too hard to make. There is a map making forum for this lark too.. but its dead.

    well what i can do it make the streets/buildings etc.. they are just boxes at the end of the end (in 3Dsmax) i mean.. add some textureing to them to make them look like a building.

    Holy sh|t, very nice. Best of luck with getting a skinner, unless you get pictures from a Russian plant, and paste them on the side.
