You would love the Swedish! They have a thing for that. Like old wallpaper designs. They wear it, put it on seat covers, bags. Everything!

Nope. I grew up in the 70's surrounded by wall-paper designed by people who were doing some serious acid.

The thought of Polyester and Bri-Nylon makes me physically sick.

But I have to say I enjoyed 'Life on Mars'. They got most of the grim and druggy look of the 70's spot-on.

Was watching a clock-work Orange last night - supposed to be set in near-future Britain. LOL. Super-70s decor.

Some shocking scenes. And the rape and violence scenes are pretty heavy too!

I love the decor in Father Teds house. The trippy pink wallpaper in the bathroom is fab :)

It doesn't get any more 70s than this.

I used to have one, same age as me ;)

A lot of "70s" design is in fact from the 50s and 60s. Mass production of the 70s made some designs get classed as 70s. I recommend getting the Taschen books on the 60s and 70s if you love the design.

Go to ebay and look at the German version and look up the 70s stuff there. The cheap shipping they do means it is quite affordable for some classic designs. Wildchild import the stuff by the container load from Europe put labels on them about the designers and then quadruple the price.

I got a set of these for €160 about a year ago delivered from Germany.

I have two 70s brown Paulin type loungers if you are interested. (like the lounge chairs in 2001)

Oh Dear! I had a bottle of Blue Stratos as a teenager
as a friend convinced me that his Dad said that it was
a real lady puller!!! (Horrid stuff) and how wrong he was.
It was nearly as bad as the the nasty 12gauge Aftershave
robbed from my uncle that was in the shape of a 12g shotgun cartridge and was like white spirits.

My dad has loads of ties from the 70s and 80s which I have taken possession of and wear everyday! Love the funky styles on them. They definitely do not make ties as stylish as they used to. That is a life goal for me; to create a tie company specialising in retro ties

Randolph, if you go to the vintage fair in the Royal Marine, make sure to wear one of your vintage ties.
