I am moving house soon and have become very attatched to my wi-fi radio which gets its signal off my wireless router, which in turn is connected to an eircom landline. My new place does not have a landline...Is it possible to create a wireless house using one of those vodafone,3,o2, go anywhere plug in white modem thingys ? You know what I mean ;)

    Yes it is possible.

Requires a supported router, or configuring a PC to act as a router.

There are routers which support the pcmcia 3g cards out of the box.
And there are some routers which support the USB 3g modem with a firmware upgrade
