Nice idea but thing about the real thing is you put your 150% in to it or you will be doing it again and again and again or worse... Doesn't really work like that if your paying the instructor! :D

I saw them once in a park of in the Rathfarnham area....can't remember the name. There wa sa hand-written sign on a piece of cardboard advertising their website.

To be honest, it all looked very amateurish and makeshift. Granted, it was over a year ago, so maybe they were just starting out or something, but it just looked like a bunch of middle-aged people doing callisthenic exercises.

I've just started back running myself, and guess what, its free!!! and I also kicked off an exercise regime, and thats free to!!

I must be doing something wrong, if I'm supposed to be giving hard earned Airsofty money to somebody, i'd rather give it to shiva, not some PTI!!!:D

As long as you shout military cadences and carry a tape recorder of random Hartman-esque abuse around with you while you work out, you're pretty much getting the full experience anyway.

    best film ever.,

Lee Ermey .... best (ex) USMC Gunnery Sergeant (his actual rank) ever captured on-screen

He was also a technical adviser for the USMC on that film and wasn't actually meant to play the part of Hartman but did such a good job of showing the actor how it was done he got given the job instead :D

He was also both a chopper pilot & technical adviser in Apocalypse Now as well.

I read that he was in Apocolypse now somewhere too, didn't know it was as a pilot though.

He is one of the most enduring characters of any war movie. I doubt the character would have had as much vigour and tanacity had he been played by an actor.
