I was wondering the other day about musical development and wonder what the blue in particular developed into. It could be argued it became Rock and Roll and soul but country has modern approach dues blues? From what I can think it is dominated by old white guys so are their modern black artists doing alt blues now?

Not quite sure what you are getting at here  It is generally accepted that (as you say) rock and roll borrowed a lot from the blues, as did jazz and rock. Yes there are as many "old " white guys playing blues as "old" black guys. So...........

    What is alt blues

If you can elaborate a little more......... ? :)
