    Hey,
I told my aunt i'd check it out a new guitar for her son..
He's 10 years old and is playing on a piece of crap nylon guitar (it's not the 40 euro argos one - it's about half the size of that - a real peace of sh!t)
I told her she might be better off to get him a 3/4 size electric..
As when scaled down i feel the electrics are made with more precision and have better intonation - would i be right in thinking this.. ??
It's just i learned on a scaled down nylon acoustic and it was really bad.. Even though the guitar was scaled down the neck was still very fat and was hard to move around..

Thomann are doin a 3/4 fender strat for €155
Are these designed for kids ? It's just i've seen 40+ year old men playing these at a gig..! what's their deal?

    Any advice appreciated

not sure about the thomann one but i was playing one in toymasters near the square in dublin over xmas and it was great, think it was around 70 euro, really considered buying it for myself, it was a little strat styled electric same as the link you just gave, the action was fine so its wouldnt make his fingers fall off, all in all it was quite nice to play!

so save yourself half the money and get that one it was really good!
