Leinster season ticket holders

Just as a matter of interest: is there anybody here who is:
a) a Leinster season ticket holder
b) allowed their name and credit card number to be submitted for the "Lottery" for the right to buy 6N tickets for Ireland home games

AND

c) failed to secure the requested amount for the Italy game?

I'm just wondering whether there is a lottery at all for Italy tickets, for which there is little demand and whether there will be a similar chance to get hold of tickets for NZ later this year.

I suspect they will have much fewer tickets for that one.

The leinster season ticket lottery is for all 3 home 6 nations games. The lottery was over christmas, and the lucky winners would have gotten emails yesterday.

I assume there will be another lottery for the games later in the year.

I think there were a few winners over on leinsterfans.

Didn't apply myself, due to a general apathy towards the national team and the cost of the tickets + booking fee markup.

Can confirm I got tickets for Wales and my Dad for Italy. Nice one Leinster Supporters Club. Didn't get them in the lottery last year.

Also got some through Irish rugby supporters Club.

You were offered chance to apply for tickets to 1 game (no choice which one), those successful were emailed yesterday and credit cards charged for full ticket amount. I got 4 for Italy and 4 for Scotland from our season books....

I got 2 tickets for the Italy game. From what I understand the club got triple packs and split them, so there was equal amounts available. Of course lots of members would also be in the IRSC and so would have got Italy tickets through there. Such is the luck of the draw. Since the tickets generally didn't go on sale to the public and people outside clubs and supporters clubs, I am sure anybody who has got spares will have no problem passing them on to interested friends (at face value I hope).

I wouldn't say there is apathy towards the national team. If there was there would be no interest and a public ticket sale due to returns from clubs etc.

OK does this mean that if you were going to get tickets for the Wales or Scotland games from this source, you would have been told already?


I have tickets for the Italy game but it's the first one up so I wasn't sure whether they were going to give me tickets for teh Scotland and Wales games as well.

If you got tickets to the Italy game through the Leinster Season Ticket holders' draw then you'll not be getting Scotland or Wales tickets from the same source.
