I am a student and i was thinking about spending the summer in New York. i was just wondering whereabouts do the irish and irish americans in new york live??? i was also wondering is it hard to get jobs and accomodation over there??? i would be greatful if anyone who has spent some time overthere would get back to me.…

Most irish live in woodside in queens or woodlawn in the bronx.As for jobs i have no idea i wouldnt imagine it would be that hard but im sure there is people who could give you more advise on that matter.

if your looking to see how americans live i wouldnt recommend going to an irish area, as its really like being at home!! worked in myrtle beach last summer and went to woodlawn in the bronx for a week at the end, but i was glad it was only for that long, otherwise no point in goin to usa to live like an irish person!! had a great time in woodlawn tho"!
