Airport tax

I'm trying to book a three-cornered journey - Dublin-London-Paris, then back to Dublin, or Dublin-Paris-London, then back to Dublin - always a complicated trick for some reason.

Puzzlingly, while Aer Lingus charges a total of €21 on a €1 fllight from Dublin to London, it charges €48 total for a €7 journey from Paris to Dublin. Are the airport taxes in CDG a lot dearer than those in London?

(I'm assuming the taxes are charged by the airport you *land* in, rather than the one you *depart* from?)

Are you referring to 'taxes & charges'? If so the tax element to that amount isn't always the biggest, but yes it does fluctuate by airport.
