Download limits?!?!?!?!?!

I just got my phone/broadband bill in and it is telling me that i have downloaded 13GB in the last month which is crazy! Not more than 3/4gb was downloaded for sure. My question is: can i get a piece of free software that can monitor the amount of data downlaoded/uploaded from my PC? I have a feeling that i'm being shafted…

Who is the provider and are they charging you for exceeding the cap?

Google for download monitor and you're sure to find one. Your ISP should really provide some way to monitor usage too, especially if they charge for cap breach.

I use DU Meter and i find it to be the best that i have tried. The only problem is that you have to pay for it.

NetMeter does the same job as DU Meter but its free - http://www.metal-machine.de/readerror/
