laptop for 500euro with these features?

    im looking for a laptop that is suitable for doing multiple tasks at one time such as spreadsheets(excel), videos, music downloads, cd/dvd player and burning etc and that has a webcam. i ideally would like to spend around 500euro but could go higher. is there a something out there at this price. ive seen the vostros recommended elsewhere. would it be suitable. thanks in advance for all replies

    The faster the laptop the better it is at doing more things at one. The Intel chips are better at it then the AMD ones. You'll just have to see what you can within your budget.

    Have a look on laptopsdirect.ie. If you want a decent laptop with is factory outlet (No box, instructions, perhaps a scratched lid) you will get one on there. Acers have built in webcams, I got a nice small 14" Acer laptop from Tesco's in the Uk 2 weeks ago for £279. With todays euro/sterling exchange rate it wasn't much at all. Dont be put off by buying from the UK.
