thanks Peteer, where is the best place to purchase it or is it the same price all over

prices for all apple products are the same on the apple store as in stores in dublin etc.

any flash based audio player is ideal for the gym, since it's flash based, it has no moving parts so it won't skip like a CD would do.

its got great reviews from The Times paper(tech section) and Cnet.

Yeah, I used to have one, awesome little DAP, but outdated by todays standards.... it's been discontinued and replaced by the YP-U3.... I wouldn't recommend it over the clip though.

Thanks Mactard, i was leaning towards the Yp as its got good reviews everywhere ive checked. Ill go with the Clip so. Can it be bought in the shops here or only online and if so which outlet do you recommend.

I'm not actually sure, I thought you could buy it in currys but I just went down and they didn't have it...it's pretty new, only been out in the states for 2-3 months... you can order it from http://www.pixmania.com/ie/uk/s_action/search/index.html which is a good online store - I prefer AMP3.co.uk but they don't stock it... you can proabably get it cheaper on ebay if you search...

There's a real sexy silver 4gb model coming out soonish too http://www.dapreview.net/comment.php?comment.news.4200
