Monitor Contrast Ratio

    Hi Folks,

Im in the process of upgrading my monitor and from looking at prices Im willing to spend a bit extra to get a 24" rather than a 22" monitor. The only problem is that the contrast ration on the 24" is only 1000:1 compared to around an average of 3000:1 on the 22" models I was looking at.

I was wondering if anyone here could give me feedback on how much of affect this has on the quality of the pic for the monitor at first hand experience. I only want it for general computer use and the occasional DV.

    Dave
