PSP help needed

    I was given a PSP for christmas pressy which was ordered on the internet ans posted from either china or Hong Kong!!! and a umd film which i think is region 2! it plays fine. So i went and bought 2 umd films from ebay and the PSP cannot read it? They are also region 2! anyone help? also looking for websites that can help with my PSP as I am a total novice here! Thank you very much.

    Any error message beginning with 80...... when you try to play the UMDs?

    no it just says it region is wrong, but my other region 2 umd works
