Avoid mika stayed there the summer before last its a bit of a kip.The security lad practically beat one of the lads with an iron bar and wanted a bribe not to go to police.

Then again its a pretty young crowd there so youd prob enjoy it but....

I was there last summer we didn't have any accomadation booked because we were island hopping but found accomadation easy enough we stayed in a family run place called elyia and tila apartments beside the local football team Fc Anolipsi. The apartments were perfect nice pool two minutes walk from the strip and right beside the main shop.If your bored during the day you should go to the football pitch and have a game with your mates the poitch was immacualte and has a little stand too. Also don't go near malia its the next resort to hersonissos we were going to go down one night but an irish girl told us that there were two murders the night before down there its full of english.

Stayed in Frida two summers ago and it was grand. Good sized rooms, and cleaned every day. Good bar and pool facilities.

Much better staying up there than right down on the strip. Piscopiano is a really nice little village with loads of shops and restaurants. You can walk down to Herson in about 10mins or take a taxi for €6!

Just did a search here for PISKOPIANO, and am shocked to see the Mika Villas Vs Frida debate. Simply because a friend of mine stayed at both and said the Mika was 100x better than Frida. Then I come on here, and its vice versa.

There are a crew of us headed on holidays early June. We are all in our late 20s. I am actually wondering is this resort a tad on the youngside?

Hi I'm just wondering where you ended up staying in the end? My friends and I (about 10 girls 18 & 19 year olds) are thinking about going on holidays to Hersonissos. We'd like to stay in cheap appartments but obviously don't want to stay in a dump either! What are the prices like there?

avoid the elpida apartments like the plague, group of 10 of us went 2 years ago 5 of us stayed in frida and the other 5 in elpida, they were robbed after a couple of nite's and weren't the only one's,these apartments don't even have a reception, you have to voice your complaints to the manager who runs the quad bike shop during the day,the 5 lads were then moved by budget travel out to gouves which was far from ideal for them,we stayed in the frida they were first class, the bar was run by a cork man donal a gentleman,we were fairly living it up and been messy and noisy and never got a complaint,if its young and lively ya want frida is the job!lovely restaraunt across the road as well!
