The Causeway from a different angle

Here's a couple from last night up on the Causeway coast.

These were taken on the East side of Port Noffer (The Causeway being the West side). This side is quite tricky to get to.

    Swish!

I'm a sucker for shots like these as I've never been able to manage it. :p

They both look great, although the colour one edges it out.

    Stunning work as always Andy.

I am coming up to do some fashion work in March for a couple of days, maybe I could spend some time with you getting some tips??

    Thanks guys,

Mike, Rymus, give me a shout anytime. I would be delighted to show you some hidden gems of the north coast.

Here's a third from the evening when the sun was out.

really great shots there. I like the second one best as the colours are so rich, but I'm curious what the first one would look like in colour.

For sure, there's a lot of strange little inlets on that wild coast.

Aye, the second one is very good, colours are great and the silhouette of the sea stack is eyecatching.

You have a lot of very good pics on your site as well,

Indeed, the whole section from Port Noffer to Dunseverick is out of bounds to the walker. But I'm working on it.

I've found descents (albeit rather hairy ones) into Port Moon and Portfad. The rest is inaccessible since the lower path was closed in 1994.

I really want to get to Lacada point where the Gerona ran aground with the loss of 1300 lives. A photo from here would really be something special.

Now if anyone has a boat......

The colour one is fantastic but I prefer the black and white one.

The stack looks almost like a giant old man sitting facing out to sea with his arms folded.
Gives extra depth with that location!!

    Nicely spotted 5uspect.

I have been reading some old books on the area and have seen this rock referred to as Lion Rock.

This other photo from the same evening has brought out his golden mane.
