    Hi

Wento see The Redneck Manifesto in Cork 3 weeks ago, complete genious, amazing. I then went on to buy Cut Your Head off... and Thirty Six Strings but it's so different, and I can;t help but feel somewhat disappointed as ye can imagine :o

I like the sound alright but obviously the live energy is not there...

I plan to get Seven Stabs and I am Brazil, any point though, since I was disappointed by the first albums/EPs?

    Thanks

this always seems to come up when people see the rednecks first.

initially it will seem like the albums are a lot more toned down and lacking the punch of the live show.
but over time you'll probably realise that their studio sound actually is more longlasting than if they went in and turned everything to eleven.

it's just a different sound, not a worse one

    Thanks!

Their studio sound is very familiar, as if I had already heard it. Still, it sounds a bit "distant", like you mentioned...Will give Seven Stabs a shot anyway ;)

I've had troubles downloading their free EP, does it happen to anyone else
