want to cancel flights? Chances of a refund!

    Booked 2 flights in feburary with a low cost airline in Ireland. Need to cancel them now, is there any chance of a refund.

    Check the terms and conditions on your flight confirmation.

    I thought that would be obvious :)

    If its ryanair i can tell you right now the answer is no

    No, why should they? The only thing you can get refunded is the tax, but Ryanair (I presume you booked with them) charge an admin fee to process this and it usually isn't worth your while.

    Some do, depending on what type of ticket you booked etc. Germanwings for example charge 24 euros or something to cancel your ticket. Also if you book a special offer ticket its usually not refundable.

    Totally down to the T&C of the booking though.

    Bit of a silly question to ask when they have the answer written down in front of them :)

    Aer Lingus charge 20 euro per person for the tax refund.
    Or you could change your flights @ 35 euro per person + difference in fare if there is one.

    Not sure exactly what I got back, but I cancelled for me and my wife.
    The cost of the ticket in total was fare+90euro.
    I got 4.48 euro back. (2.24 each).:mad:
