    Yep ! Shouldn't be a problem!!

However the reason that AKG get so thrashed pricewise is because the competition is so much better.

As an AKG dealer I know that AKGs sales dropped in the UK by something significant (30% as far as I recall ) on their lower end studio range, because of sE Electronics (Yes we supply them too!)

With regard to mic matching it doesn't really happen any more as manufacturing has become so much more consistent. If they're matched at all these days it's just by serial numbers.

As the gauntlet has been thrown down I might mention our RRPs on sE are cheaper , (CHEAPER I SAY!) than you'll buy from German sites...

    Amen to that!

Oh and now I think of it I think the sE Electronics range has a 3 year warranty - When I say I think it's because if your sE gets bust pop out to us (if you're in Dublin) we generally just replace it with a new one, there and then.

Now do our German Brothers seem such a good deal!??

Anyway No More Selling.... it's agin the rules.

really don't like those mics at all, as said above the likes of sE or Rode would be way better options in that price range (c414 now, thats a different story:))

in saying that i probably would go for a matched pair if buying sE or Rodes

actually Paul a little Off topic here but! i have an SE3 here i love and for some reason you need to do some random twisting on the chassis to get it to work properly. It doesnt seem to be any connection in particular, its like a line signal thing as you can get it working with really low level mostly but it takes forever to get it working properly! Any ideas of where to get it looked at?
