    Hey all,
I need some help, but im unsure where to start :/
My computer has stopped working as of yesterday, when i turn it on it seems to run fine but the monitor does not seem to be recognising/connecting with the pc. A grey square appears on the monitor, but its smaller than the screen itself. Also the mouse and the keyboard isnt connecting to it either.
I had a look inside to see if anything had come loose but it all seems fine.
    Any help would be great,
    Thanks!

What do you see when you first turn it on? Anything? Does it run through the bios startup?
The grey screen - anything in it?
Have you tried the PC with another monitor?

The monitor stays on all the time, when its on there is a grey square up on it before i even turn on the computer. Its slightly smaller than the screen itslef for eg my screen is 19" and the square that comes up is 14". As for the grey screen, nothing comes up on it.
I've tried another monitor but it dosent seem to work, even when i connected it nothing came up at all.
I imagine that the computer is running fine if the monitor worked ok but then again im not sure.

Might be worth trying some of the stuff suggested here:
