Many use the term pound shop or €2 shop as a generic term for any sort of store selling cheap low quality stuff, not always €2. On mary street there is one that does keys cheap, and car stuff cheap. There are always great bargains to be got, especially if you only want tools for 1 off usage, (I have broken big spanners with my bare hands!).

They do USB cables, for €2 that can be €20-30 in PC world. Lots of chocolate you cannot get anywhere too, like differnet types of twix, kit-kat etc, just check the dates! I got huge milka bars in date for €2, probably €6-8 in the airport.

Sorry to ask again but where did you get it in Dublin Rover?

Tried Moore Street today but they didn't have it, and the shop on Liffey Street isn't there any more....

Yep, just picked one up, it's a good read and nice photos. It's over €30 in Easons just with a different cover. The €2 Euro Shop version is the same as the one available for £6 on Amazon.

I've only noticed this thread now but I was in my local €urosaver shop last week and was really surprised at how cheaply they were selling off some some of the books for.

I got a couple of decent books for €4 each. Gonna head back when I get a chance and pick up some more.
