What software for DTT?

Hi,

I have a dell tuner card (think it is hauppage). The only software the system comes with is Windows Media Center which I think won't work for Irish DTT Trial.

Anybody have any ideas for what software I could use. Tried a trial of Beyond TV but it won't let me select Digital Terrestrial when I select Ireland.

are you sure it has a digital tuner on the card and not analog

if you look in control panel->system->device manager, you might be able to find the model number of the card and then find out if it supports dvb-t

The card def supports dvb-t.

I have tried media centre before and as far as i remember it worked for dvb-t trial... can't really remember how i set it up though

you could download the software from the hauppauge.co.uk website... if its a hauppauge card it should work.

you could also try gb-pvr, that works for me, can be a little bit tricky to set up

at the moment i'm using altdvb, works fine, interface is plain but functional.
