REASON 4 and REBIRTH 2

hi, i have a bassline pattern in rebirth 2,and have set up the rebirth 2 input in reason 4 and created the rebirth 2 lane in the sequencer but have not been able to record.Also i it wont let me draw in the pattern using the 'pencil'.Any pointers? thanks in advance Labmouse

Just found out you cant..have 2 use rebirths own sequencer...
