Just started playing on Doyles Room and noticed if you're in a hand and fold or get someone else to fold you are able to see what the next card would've been whether the turn or river. Nifty little feature plus I think it plays like real live poker more as that card has already been selected.
On another note anyone watching the Jags Pats game right now? What a game so far.

Online rabbit hunting? Good Christ, that's lame.

    Results based thinking ftw.
Ah teh flushdraw missed, I was correct to fold.

Doesn't doing this mean showing your opponents your hand?

Surely not. That means you can eliminate cards from your opponents hand. For example if there was a club-flush draw and you rabbit hunt the Ace of clubs. Wouldn't it also slow things down considerably with morons rabbit hunting all the time?

Does it do it all the time, or is it requested?
Sounds like a horrible feature, slows the game,
but if it influences decisions, it might be good
ie, I missed/hit last time so I will call this time etc

you can just set it as an option to show you the next card. It only shows once everyone has mucked.

I would never play on Doyles room because of this feature. If it's available on Omaha tables it's a huge advantage to rabbit hunt.

I thought the way rng's worked was that the next card was never determined until all action has finished thus meaning if you delay then the card would be different than if you had acted earlier. This being the case they are effectively showing a random last card which is rubbish. If all cards are predetermined preflop on DR doesn't this mean that all the conspiracy theorists (Mark Strahan being a case in point) will trumpet their points further.

Absolute poker also had this feature on some (not all) tables when i played there during the summer. It didnt slow the game down as far as i remember - the rabbit card displayed briefly in the top corner while the next hand was being dealt/started

Poker.com has had it for years, slows the tables down and is very crude as it's not similar to a live experience as most card rooms don't allow this to happen and rightfully so.
