mmm, won't be there. Only sent my form last friday week and not sure if it was received yet. As such, did not get reply and don't know where it's on. So going to go skirmish in Drogheda.

nobody would bother joining if you could participate as a non member though,
the more numbers the IAA has the more clout they have. and aswell as that i suppose having members only means no spying newspaper sensationalists fishing for info., :)

1 single unbiased person not 50,
as for media intrest i sense a bout of paraonia

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,533 ✭✭✭iceage

as a member, i see your point, but i've friends who are big into airsoft, but can't stand the bull**** associated with with airsoft clubs and associations. They just want to blap off a few rounds at the week end, have a few beers and have a laugh about it afterwards. Thats why I'm finding it difficult to find guys and locations down my way for an event.

So some of them choose not to enroll with likes of the I.A.A. thats their choice, I'm in so that there might be a voice from someone a bit further south than the M50!! and unfortunately i'm unable to tear up to HRTA, as much as I'd love to:):)

not paranoia, they did afterall go to MIA and actually spend a decent amount of money on airsoft equipment just to get a halfarsed story out of it.,

got nothing to do with the IAA though , dont think there that intrested in blokes fighting over what to call irish dpm,and miss the point of the IAA in the first place

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,533 ✭✭✭iceage

true, true, they sure did. but hey, thats the media for ya..anything for a story. i'm not sure who said it in here but seems they seem to jump onto the latest bad buzz, thankfully Airsoft is off the agenda for the times being.

Just back from the EGM now.
I would like to thank the Committee for all their hard work representing us as a sport and for the professional manner in which they are doing it.

    Quick primer:

Uniform = Flag. You are supposed to treat them both the same.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,291 ✭✭✭✭Gatling
