depends on what you want to upgrade

    range?
    rate of fire?
    aesthetics?

    increasing range.......

well there's a couple of things you can do, the cyma ak is likely firing at around 1Joule alreayd, the mp5k im not too sure about but i wouldnt say it's far off it so no need to increase the fps

A good hopup rubber will help alot, the guarder clear ones are quite good, or the systema soft ones, you can get them on ehobbyasia.com

tightbore barrels (6.04 would do it but also available are 6.03 and 6.01, although these can jam easier) can help increase range and more particularly the accuracy which thus increases the effective range.

bbs - using slightly heavier bbs can actually increase range due to less wind resistance, you may think there's not much difference between .20g or .23g or .25g, but they can make a difference, again, slightly heavier bbs are more accurate so increases the effective range, downside is that they are a little more expensive and harder to source, MIA in dublin stock .23g and I believe another retailer will be stocking them soon too

there are other ways of increasing range, but these are the basics

No they don't. Do you have any proof that a 6.01mm barrel will jam with high quality BB's?

its point 01mm larger than a bb, of course it can jam, the slightest bit of dirt in the barrel or imperfection on the bb will make it jam at that diameter,.

As I said, they can jam easier, and while I havent tested anything less than 6.04 personally, from anything i've read, this seems to be the case (especially with full auto), and logically it makes sense, as vtec said, any dirt in the barrel (no matter how careful you are, itll find it's way in there) can cause a jam
