Problem with Funai DVR-B2737 VHS/DVD recorder unit

    2 problems at the moment that I hope someone can help me with

    1. I cannot find the manual online for DVR-B2737 and I just need to confirm if I can copy to DVD-R at any other speed than 2 hour setting. The speed button on my remote has no effect whatsoever when I press it. I bought the unit ex-demo for E100 about 2 months ago and the shop assistant thinks he got the right remote but no manuals.

    2. I can copy from sky+ box to unit but I need to change scart ports on the DVD recorder unit if I want to see the menu system on the DVD recorder. If I leave the scart plugged in to the scart 1 input then I cannot see sky+ at all. Records from scart 2 input perfectly but it is a pain when I have to finalise the disc and have to switch scart input.

    Current setup: Sky+ output 1 to Tv scart 2

    Sky+ output 2 to DVD recorder. No output from this to TV as it plays back through the sky+ box connection to TV when sky+ is off

    DVD player (surrond sound unit) to TV scart 1

    Xbox360 to HD input on TV with sound routed to DVD player

    TV is Phillips 32" HD
