Hi not sure if this thread exists already but I have a creative zen micro which I bought a few years ago. I recently downloaded itunes and have purcahsed music on it, however my mp3 is not recognised as a device on itunes. I was told before that itunes do not recognise any device bar there own ipods?
Is this the case and if so is there anyway for me to get my purchased songs onto my device?
At the moment the only way I can do this is by burning the songs onto a cd and then importing the songs onto the device throgh my creative software. Its ok but takes time etc. Please help!

    Thanks.

iTunes only recognises iPods and some older MP3 players like the NOMAD line fromm Creative and Rio/Archos players. Out of the box, it won't sync any other kind of device. To get your purchased music from iTunes to your MP3 player the burn/rerip method is the only way afaik.

iTunes can sync any UMS player as long as you have a plugin installed - however, regardless of any plugin, if you buy tracks from iTunes they will ONLY work on an ipod (unless they are itunes plus tracks) as most itunes bought tracks use a form of digital rights management ironically called "Fairplay"

I do not know if there is a plugin for mtp devices - which most current Creative players are, this includes your micro.

The only workaround available to you is the one you are currently doing. Burn the itunes bought tracks onto cd and then re-rip.
