what OS are you running? If its Vista then use the built in Vista RAM checker, you can press F9 during boot time and it will bring up an option to enter the Memory diagnostic utility, but the lazy mans way is to do this:

From within Vista, hit the start button, type "memory" into the "start search" box and then just select one of the options as to when you want it to check your RAM.
