What movie was unfairly over-looked in 2007? Perhaps you thought critics were too harsh or audiences too unappreciative? What movie should be re-examined and brought to the wider attention of all? Nominate it here.

To be eligible, the film must have been released on Irish cinema screens between 1/1/2007-18/1/2008 (inclusive). Each voter can only nominate a maximum of two titles for this category. Any further nominations shall be ignored.

Hostel Part II - I felt people got too sweeped up in the whole "Torture Pr0n" bull****, and overlooked what is a very good film, with an extremely competant director.

300.People complained about the lack of depth- it was a gory, inaccurate movie about people killing each other in the most stylist way possible. Anybody looking for any depth from that was going to be dissapointed.

The Science of Sleep - Honestly, how this masterpiece didn't get the recognition or release it deserved is an outrage, in the words of Tony Harrison.
Southland Tales - it isn't that bad, and was one of the most unique watches of the year.

Stardust. Probably my favourite film of the last ten years, it should have been huge.

    Grindhouse - Deathproof

it was sorely overlooked as being a shallow, useless film. What people are missing is that it was a callback to the 70's car chase, they were all like that: Gone In 60 Seconds, Vanishing Point, Two Lane Blacktop etc... all had poor story lines and worse acting, but they gave the audience an adrenaline rush, and that's what I got from Deathproof. it delivered what had set out to and is a definite for my DVD collection
