What particular scene in a movie stood out this year? What few minutes in the theatre had your draw dropping - in wonder or laughter? Which one burnt itself into your brain, that can still trigger excitement on recalling it? Nominate it here.

To be eligible, the nominated scene must be from a film released on Irish cinema screens between 1/1/2007-18/1/2008 (inclusive). Each voter can only nominate a maximum of two scenes for this category. They may be both from the same movie. Any further nominations shall be ignored. Please state the scene and the name of the movie that you are nominating.

Train Robbery - The Assassination of Jessie James...: disapointing film overall, but wonderfully filmed scene.

Opening 'crazy old woman' sequence - Inland Empire: brilliant madness.

The Liquor Store scene in Superbad.
Leonidas charge forward in 300 (the scene where the camera just follows him as he charges the opposition, often in slow motion - fantastic scene despite what thoughts you may have on the movie itself)
