polycarbonate roofing sheets

    anyone know where to source twin wall polycarbonate roofing sheets? I've seen them used in lean to type roofing in gardens and carports and I understand they are a cheap and easy roofing system if you don't mind how ugly they are - builders merchants I've been on to don't seem to know about them - any ideas where to get them?

    B&Q do stock them, I think there 2.4m and 4m lengths. Not the cheapest but do the trick.

    - I hadn't tried B&Q, just looked on their website and found only full greenhouses

    - come to think of it, I think I remember seeing that plastics manufacturer in Sandyford, never thought to ask if they do retail sales - will ring them,

    did you manage to do it mats3?,
    sorry just researching the topic myself, might have to do this diy to replace the currrent one , has wood, its for a shelter at back garden.

    anyone has other suggestions?? all comments welcomed.

    I found the prices in Ireland - big surprise - to be quite high. B&Q do carry the twin wall PC but were out of stock when I was looking and they were very expensive. Wikkes in Limerick stock the sheets and accessories as well and were a bit cheaper than B&Q.

    I ended up getting my materials from the UK from these people:

    not a diy person myself,
    i just want a waterproof plastic sheet for cover at the back garden,
    i would need to nail it into 4 wooden pillars..,
    is it easy to do this??,
    i mean this plastic sheet would be ok?,

    how much did you pay for it??

    i bought the corrugated plastic sheeting from co op 4 home last year and it was 25 euro per sheet i think 6 x 2.ver expensive compared to uk.

    Celluplast in Baldoyle industrial estate is the cheapest I have found
