Flickr Widget - Sig too big?

    Hey,

    Has anybody else been reported for their Flickr Widget thing being too big? I got a PM there about it - any suggestions???

    Are you serious? Sounds a bit weird. I gather it's a different forum on boards.

    No one has ever said my sig is too big, and it's bigger than just the FlickR banner.

    Biko isn't a mod, is he?

    I'd respond saying that your sig isn't breaking any of the rules of boards, and that you've seen larger sigs from other users.

    Loads of people using the widgets on boards, so if yours is too big then we're all breaking the rules yet no admins have ever said we are :)

    I'd say ignore the PM :)

    btw Biko is not a Mod he's just a subscriber - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/member.php?find=lastposter&t=2055214982, but he does post on the sigpo thread alot in feedback,.

    Ah, the sig nazis strike again! I'm all for getting rid of ridiculously large/animated sigs but moaning about sigs that are a few pixels/bytes outside the rules is pathetic.

    Technically they are 200 pixels too wide although they are okay on height and kb size.

    You could PM an admin an ask for the width to be extended from 300px to 500 px. Possibly.

    I agree with what Calina says, proactively contact the admins about changing the rules about your sig size.

    If you ignore the PM your sig will be deleted

    just on that faceman, yours is 125px too wide. According to the thread they should be 300px wide and no more...

    Maybe if all the FlickR users contacted the Admins they could allow us to use the 500px. Of course, there's no way for us to alter the size of the image ... is there???

    Just read all the rules ... my sig is centred (against rules) and the Flickr Widget is too wide. FFS ... this is mad. :eek:

    Surely on the page where you enter/edit your signature there should be something clearly stating the rules !!!

    Don't worry too much about it, a few sigs are given some leeway. I've always let the Flickr ones go.

    well my reason for posting here was to see what the rest of you all think, given the amount of people using the flicktr widget in their sigs. ill pm him back now asking him to look at the photo forum and then amount of people that have the same sigs and the post in feedback.

    I think the majority of the time, people leave off the Flickr widgets.

    Sigpo is a bit silly anyways, I mean, sigs being way too big is bad form alright, but I don't see how a centred sig will do any harm.

    I've been reported a few times I think :)

    Anyways, I think this topic is better suited to feedback - Off ye go!

    Wait, so this biko guy dosent even really have any authority to tell people to remove their sig..?
    I had one of those danasoft sigs and he pm'd me saying it was too big..wow, this guy really must have nothing better to do.
