    Hi folks,

This is my first thread on this forum

I was just wondering is there anywhere in Louth that teaches boxing to beginners and where (and what is the best type of boxing/self defence)?

    Thanks

All boxing clubs deal with beginners up to top class boxers, go on to the iaba website and check out clubs in the louth area, the phone numbers of secretarys an all should be there, best of luck! www.iaba.ie/boxing

Rush Boxing club and Rush Martial Arts head coach.

Boxing is not taught as a "self defence" type sport, as maybe some of the martial arts are.

Actually, boxing is a form of self defence.

Cheers for the link. I basically want to get fit and im sure boxing is a good way of doing that!I also just want to defend myself and im sure boxing could help all the same. I see 3 boxing clubs in louth on that site (thanks cowzerp), anyone know which is best?
