    Hi,

    I just got this http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=332165

and when buying it i didn't think about having a router etc,, I wanted to just hook it into the PC and put files on it that way ... Will that work ?

I would try it but i dont have a USB - USB lead.. But if you guys think or know it will i'll run out and get one.. comes with an Lan lead but my boardband is connected in there..

You should be able to connect to it using a crossove ethernet cable.

By the look of the spec it doesn't have USB connectivity so that rules that out.

My advice is to buy yourself a cheap hub/switch. You can plug the broadband, the pc and the NAS into it with just a few cheapo ethernet cables (two of which you'll already have). Something like this http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=319207

Sorry jsut read the full spec and it does indeed have USB.

You will be able to connect it via USB if you get the cable.
