    boil in water then drain, 20 minutes iirc, or until tender.

    Or you can boil it in stock, then use it in the same way you'd use couscous.

    A few years ago when it first came on the market you had to rinse it in several changes of water, rubbing it between your hands, to get rid of the saponin, which had a bitter, soapy taste - but now all the stuff for sale seems to have been ready prepared.
