    yes you can.
but itv and variations are only available through add channels.

Channel 6 no problem, UTV has to be manually added to the "Other Channels" section of the Sky box.

The only problem with that is that it can't be added to your Guide Channels or be recorded.

Come on Sky, update us already.

Yeah, Channel 6 is in the TV list already, UTV is manual. Here's a guide how to do it...

Has anyone else been experiencing problems with Channel 6?
It becomes distorted alot on my system.
I used to experience problems like that with E4 but I relocated my dish up higher and the problems stopped.
I think the dish was too low and tall trees were causing interference.
There is nothing to get in the way of the signal now and the signal
strength and quality are very good.

    Any ideas?

There are a few boxes out there that can help you with NTL, try Googling.

    no there arn't.

Nothing will improve an bad analogue signal or over compressed / badly compressed digital signal.

I think you should be banned for that. Blatant advertising of boxes used for illegal purposes.

He could have been thinking of cable amplifiers. He wasn't specific, so marked with infraction. Very borderline I agree.

    whats a cable amplifier ?
can I improve my cable signal with it ?

    Groan...

No. Not unless you install it 500m back up the street. Like a TV aerial signal once it is noisy an amplifier will simply make it worse by adding its own noise and amplifying the noise and signal equally.

This is why on a BIG TV mast, the amplifier goes about 1m away from aerial to boost the signal for the long downlead. Boosting it at the TV end instead is too late.
