My laptop screen just suddenly went green

    Help!
I was in the middle of surfing the Internet and talking to people on gmail chat and next thing it went green - like a light green. It was very strange. No buttons could restore my screen, but the keyboard the lights were reacting eg caps lock light was going on and off. I switched off my latpop manually and its working fine now, but I'm worried there's something wrong with it.

It's a Dell inspiron 1300 and its only a year old. It has been quite slow recently eg opening programs is very slow and sometimes it hangs. I have virus checkers and run them very often. Is there anything else I can do to make sure it's not going to die. Should I be worried about the green screen?

    Please help me!

Try reinstalling the video drivers. They may have become corrupt.

Also run an antispyware tool like spybot. This will pickup the things the antivirus doesn't.
