    Hey folks

    Quick question, im still pretty much an amatuer looking to get practising again, living in Newbridge but looking for cheap and cheerful but yet decent courses to use in the Leinster area ??? suggestions ??

    Newbridge golf club is reasonably cheap and cheerful. Played it during the summer and drainage wasn't great so may not be that playable during the winter. Some nice holes though and definitely worth a look.

    You'd be near enough to City West wouldn't you? If so you could consider joinging their club. Their's no joining fee and the course looks nice but I haven't played it yet:

    didnt think this warranted a new thread.....

    providing it doesnt pour down I'm gonna go for 18 holes tomorrow with my bro. Ive played Leopardstown and Stepaside recently and was looking for another pay as you play for <=30 euros that is in good nick despite recent rain.

    Any one got any ideas? Preferably on the south side but 30mins drive from Sandyford would be ok too.

    I played Dublin City (near tallaght) last summer and it was really enjoyable. I'd say at this time of year it should be fairly quiet and below 30 notes.
