How are doing it Steyr? As a top down look?

I'd imagine it'd be pretty difficult to do in Paint without one of those fancy pencil yokes...

Actually, I might do that with the lego I have here, or even the k'nex I have here, or both! It'll be the summer before I get to do it tho, due to exams.

Its done its done its done!

    Airport.jpg

Military to the left, Commercial/GA to the right, two control towers ( red dots ) one is Mil and the Other is civvy, also on the Mil side there are the bright grey slabs as you can see, this is derived from some AB's ive seen on the net as they are used as parking areas for the Aircraft.

Anyway it was a bit of crack! For a laugh. :D:p:D

Nice one, you didn't even have to cut down any houses or trees... Government consultant ftw...

I began working on my one yesterday! all I need is about €200million and we shall have our new airport before long...

Got rid of 2 golf courses as a bonus. (There are a few trees there, but hush now lest the environmentalers get wind, and we'll keep the hares for road^H^H^H^H runway kill stew)

Paint is rubbish, wait until I get PhotoShop on the case.

    3. Completed
    Aeropuerto.jpg

Car Park at the bottom, red line is the Airfield Boundry, Red dot is the tower, Red Building is Airport Fire Service, Grey "slabs" are Aircraft parking areas, equally spaced to allow Aircraft to safely taxi, NB Slabs can safely accommodate 737 type AC, Pax would be bussed to Aircraft from Terminal, Located on site also is one large maintenace facility and one GA Hanger and 2 Misc Hangers for AC and Assorted Equipment such as Baggage lorries etc.

What a lovely idea, Dave, having an airport right on our door step. The only problem being that it has a north/south runway, not good for prevailing winds.

Ya but i thought the guys would love to come in from over the sea and with EICM being a crosswind challenge....maybe just maybe it's a good option!
