Ok,so i need to change the time sig of what im recording from 4/4 to 6/8.

I know how to change the time sig but every time i do everything gets changed to 6/8 inseatd of everything after i where i change the time sig, and i need to go back to 4 later in the song and back into 6 again after that.

All the manual does is tell me how to change it and not how to sort out this problem.

Any help would be really cool cause im stumped!
    Thanks
    Paulie

Not a big Logic user but you usually would need to set the time sig. at the top of the song for 4/4 then to 6/8 where you need it then back again etc. This is how it goes for P.T. and Performer.

You need to enable Global Tracks (hit G or enable it with the View menu). Then expand the Signature track. Use the pencil tool to click the location where you want to change the time sig, enter the new time sig, and bob's your uncle. You can change it back to 4/4 later on the timeline with the same method.
